Egg retrieval was yesterday. They got 9. The doctor from the lab called before 8 am this morning and 8 of the 9 fertilized yesterday. This morning we have 4 embryos! They'll call everyday through Tuesday to let us know how many embryos we have remaining. He thinks we'll have enough for transfer on Tuesday. Fingers crossed! Today our embryos have 2 cells, tomorrow they should double to 4; Sunday they should double to 8...and by Tuesday they'll have 100 cells.
I'll write more later about the retrieval process. We just got home from KC and I'm laying in my bed, ready for a nap. I'm in some pain, mostly cramping in the lower ab area. They gave me a prescription for pain meds, I took one yesterday and have been taking Tylenol since. I may give in and take another pain pill soon.
