Almost halfway already!

I've had several great days in a row. On Saturday, I was full of energy and was on the move from 8 am until about 5 pm when I finally got tired. I cleaned, washed windows, and even made it outside to clean out my gardens, transplant a few things, and put down a few bags of mulch. I think I was asleep by 9:15 Sat night (ok, before that because I snoozed during the Royals game!)

We had planned to have some family over Sat for a small Easter dinner, but R has been sick and ran a fever Fri night/Sat morning and he ended up sleeping from 4 pm Fri until 10:30 am Sat, so I cancelled so we didn't spread his germs to everyone. Hopefully he's on the mend. I am always nervous that he's got pneumonia again. It's been almost a year since his 9 day pneumonia hospital stay.

Today we went to the Royals game. It was great to see the renovations to the stadium, we got there early and walked around most of the stadium. It was a great game and the Royals ended up winning. Yay!

Tues is our next appt in KC at the clinic. This will be our halfway point. A week from today I should start my stimulation shots! It's a little surreal to think we're this close.

Several people have asked if we're excited. The answer is "Of course!" but we're also cautiously excited. There is about a 50% success rate with females my age at the clinic. The doctor says that with unexplained infertility the odds are a little higher. So while I'm very optimistic that this will work, I'm not getting ahead of myself and assuming it will. Things still have to go just right with the suppression, stimulation, retrieval, and transfer.
