I did my first shot tonight at 9, which is the time I decided I would do them every night. The build up was definitely worse than the actual shot. My best pal Reg came to visit tonight and ended up staying with me while I gave myself the shot. It was so nice to have her here! Plus her dad is diabetic so she is well versed in the protocol associated with shots. I also had a great sheet from the clinic to follow step-by-step.
I am glad the first one is over!!
Now I am off to take the steroid before bed.

Yeah! You are officially a pin cushion now. I know it wil be a lot of shots but it will all be worth it in the end. I am so excited for both of you! - Traci

ReplyDeleteI am so glad the all the worry was nothing to worry about. You are on your way. Make sure you take plenty of time each day to journal and relax. I know acupuncture is also helpful to relax for some. If not a good soak in the tub always worked for me.
